St. Joseph’s University elects first lay president

Earlier this week, St. Joseph's University elected Mark Reed, Ed.D. (Fairfield '14) as its first-ever lay president.

Dr. Reed is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, inducted honorarily last year during his role as vice president and chief of staff at Fairfield University.

SJU joins 9 other Jesuit universities in the U.S. now led by lay presidents, a number that continues to increase.
