2024 Magis Medal Winners

Alpha Sigma Nu is proud to announce the four winners of the 2024 Magis Medal. 

The Magis Medal was founded in 2015 as part of the Centennial celebration of Alpha Sigma Nu. To honor the 100th anniversary of the Society, 100 members were awarded the Magis Medal who embodied their Jesuit roots in their daily work. Many award winners started or contributed significantly to non-profit organizations, some with Jesuit connections, which directly addressed social justice issues. Others advocated for social justice through their professional work, such as attorneys prioritizing pro bono work. Winners focused their work on social justice issues ranging from the environment to disaster relief to refugee aid programs.

Since 2015, the Magis Medal has been awarded each year to highlight the fantastic work being done by fellow members. These members are living their Alpha Sigma Nu pledge out in the world after graduation and are an inspiration to new members to carry the flame with them as they begin their careers.
