Prospective Members

We are excited that you are interested in joining Alpha Sigma Nu! Our members are high-achieving individuals committed to Jesuit education and the mission of service and justice. 

• Alpha Sigma Nu (AΣN ) is the honor society of Jesuit colleges and universities with 27 chapters in the U.S. and five abroad currently. It is the only honor society permitted to bear the name Jesuit.

• Chapters at the colleges and universities are guided by faculty and administrators who serve as chapter advisers.

• Membership in Alpha Sigma Nu is a lifetime connection to the Society of Jesus, Jesuit and Ignatian works, and other leadership opportunities or benefits within Alpha Sigma Nu and beyond.  

• Alpha Sigma Nu inducts students and honorary members. Alumni of Jesuit universities and colleges interested in getting involved in Jesuit and mission works should visit www.ajcunet.edu/mission-and-identity for more organizations and resources associated and affiliated with Jesuit higher education.
